Wedlake Bell advised the shareholders of Obelisk Energy Limited (and its related group companies) on its sale to Danish based energy group, Swire Renewable Energy A/S.
Irish holding company, Obelisk Energy, and its Cape Town based South African subsidiaries, is one of the leading suppliers of high-quality maintenance, testing and support services businesses to the telecoms and renewable energy infrastructure solutions sector.
Wedlake Bell’s international cross-departmental M&A team was led by Partner Mark Tasker and included Senior Associate David Duhig and Solicitor Maria Nadarajah. In addition, Michael Ridsdale and Gemma Williams advised on corporate tax, Choy Lau on employment, Adam Betts on IP and commercial law matters and Grainne McCourt on real estate.
