Gemma advises on all aspects of UK taxation affecting businesses, individuals and trustees situated both in the UK and overseas. Primarily focusing on Real Estate and Corporate M&A.

In addition, Gemma has experience in tax dispute matters including and up to the Court of Appeal, handling enquiries and investigations made by, and appeals against, HM Revenue & Customs and insolvency tax fraud.

Career History

Gemma joined Wedlake Bell in 2021 as a trainee solicitor and qualified in September 2023. Prior to this Gemma worked as a paralegal at Reach plc (the owner of national and local newspapers including the Daily Mirror, the Daily Express and the Daily Star). She holds an LLB from BPP University and an LLM from King’s College, London.
