Grainne’s practice spans a wide range of real estate matters including acting for corporate occupiers, property development and real estate finance, acting for institutional, corporate and private investors dealing with the acquisition and disposal of both single properties and portfolios. Grainne has particular experience advising on the real estate aspects of corporate transactions including M&A and restructurings.

• Advising IJM Corporation Berhad on the acquisition of a £72.5 million long leasehold interest of 25 Finsbury Circus, its subsequent £150 million sustainability-led refurbishment and reconfiguration with a projected gross development value of c.£420 million, together with the exchange of a pre-letting agreement of over 135,000 sqft with a global law firm.
• Acting for IJM on the acquisition of JRL Construction Company.
• Advising on all real estate aspects on the sale of FM Conway to Vinci SA.
• Advising Global Holdings Group on the acquisition of the mixed use 29,265 sqft Frith & Bateman building centrally located in London Soho, comprising office, retail and residential uses.
• Advising Global Holdings Group on the purchase and leaseback of 10 Great Pulteney Street in London from fashion retailer Boohoo.
