Wedlake Bell advises the Fashion Retail Academy on its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of the London College of Beauty Therapy
Wedlake Bell has advised new client, the Fashion Retail Academy (FRA) on its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of the London College of Beauty Therapy Limited (LCBT). The FRA is a leading London based industry-led college of further education. Founded by well-known fashion and retail giants, it offers a range of specialist fashion courses. LCBT was established in 1995 and has grown to become the top London provider of beauty courses for students aged 16-19 in areas such as beauty therapy, hair, makeup and aesthetics.
Wedlake Bell’s specialist cross-departmental M&A team was led by Partner Mark Tasker and included Associates David Duhig and Maria Nadarajah. In addition, Michael Ridsdale and Gemma Williams. advised on corporate tax, Choy Lau on employment, Adam Betts on IP and commercial law matters, Grainne McCourt on real estate.
