Responding to a complex issue surrounding joint Wills, Caroline and Andrew wrote, “claims [under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975] are generally only permitted within six months of the Grant of Probate. To apply out of time would depend on the circumstances and may not be practically viable.”
