Natalie Pilagos

Natalie is an expert in construction disputes. She advises in relation to a wide range of sectors including retail, offices, hotels, student accommodation and commercial/private residential development. 

She is experienced in all forms of dispute resolution including adjudication, expert determination, mediation, arbitration and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court. Clients she has advised include end users, developers, contractors, consultants, local authorities, SPVs, private clients and investors/funders. She has been noted in the Legal 500 as a key construction lawyer and is a member of both the Technology and Construction Solicitors Association and the Society of Construction Law.

Pippa Hampton

Pippa joins Wedlake Bell as a solicitor in the Real Estate team, having previously practiced at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP where she trained and qualified in March 2021.

Pippa has acted for a variety of clients including investors, developers, landlords and tenants across the office, industrial and retail sectors. She also has experience in real estate finance, having acted for borrowers and lenders in property refinancings.

Ankita Sahadev

Ankita joined Wedlake Bell as a newly qualified solicitor in the Real Estate team in September 2021, having trained at Ashurst LLP where she completed seats in Real Estate Finance, Real Estate, Real Estate Disputes as well as  a Global Markets secondment at Goldman Sachs.

Ankita has had experience in assisting with a range of commercial property matters for a variety of clients including investors, developers, landlords and tenants across the office, industrial and retail sectors. Ankita has had experience in property finance matters, acting for both borrowers and lenders. Since joining Wedlake Bell, Ankita has been working with our logistics and housebuilders clients.

Wilson Tang

Wilson joins Wedlake Bell as a solicitor in the Real Estate team from Capsticks, where he joined on qualification after completing his training contract in the City at Rosling King.

Wilson has experience acting on a broad range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals and management of investment assets for clients such as private equity funds, developers and landlords and tenants. Wilson has also routinely acted for private and high street banks with acquisition and development financing and refinancing for both commercial and residential property. Examples of his work include advising on a £200 million loan secured against a portfolio of circa. 400 titles, acquisition of a portfolio of units spread across the South-East and South-West for £46 million and managing a shopping centre comprising over 20 units and assisting with its subsequent sale.

Gemma Cook

Gemma joined Wedlake Bell in November 2021 as the Professional Support Lawyer to the Commercial Property team. Immediately prior to joining Wedlake Bell, Gemma was at Stephenson Harwood for almost 8 years, having previously trained and qualified at Mills & Reeve in 2006.

Gemma has over 15 years’ experience advising on commercial real estate, principally investment, development and asset management. She has a particular expertise in projects involving site assembly, planning, environmental, and other conditional factors.  Gemma has acted on many portfolio transactions across sectors, including industrial and office assets and shopping centres.  She has acted for a variety of clients, including institutional investors, REITs, funds, one of London’s main estate landlords and also corporate owner/occupiers.
