Leading the way is Wedlake Bell’s Senior Partner, Kim Lalli, with a nomination in the Diversity/Gender Positive Role Model category. The accolade recognises her commitment to fairness and equal opportunities as well as her contribution to changing the landscape of the legal profession throughout her extensive legal career. In further individual nominations, Partner and Head of Private Client Group, Camilla Wallace, has been nominated in the prestigious Lawyer of the Year and Woman of the Year categories, acknowledging her significant work and reputation as a leader amongst Private Client practitioners. Camilla is regularly cited by the leading directories as “excellent”.
Furthermore, the firm’s reputable Real Estate Group’s work has been recognised by this nomination in the competitive Property Law Firm of the Year category for their specialist offering across the firm’s Real Estate sector through which the Group have advised on schemes with development values exceeding £300m. Finally, Wedlake Bell has received a nomination for Law Firm of the Year which is a testament to the importance and quality of work provided across practice areas.
The Citywealth Magic Circle Awards are held annually to identify the best advisors and managers in the global industry and have become an established presence, bringing together a wide range of advisors in the wealth industry. Entries for each category are shortlisted as finalists by a judging panel comprising ten global industry experts. Established in 2005, Citywealth encompasses a mixture of publications, events and networking groups aiming to bring together those working in the private wealth sector, to develop contacts and generate business.
