City law firm, Wedlake Bell, has further strengthened its market leading Construction group with the appointment of Legal Director, Natalie Pilagos to its contentious practice. She joins the firm from Taylor Wessing, where she was Senior Counsel for three years. Her appointment is with immediate effect.
Natalie has extensive experience in advising on disputes in relation to a wide range of construction projects including energy, manufacturing, and commercial/private real estate and residential development. She is experienced in all forms of dispute resolution including adjudication, mediation, arbitration and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court. Natalie featured as a leading construction lawyer in the Legal 500, and will further bolster the firm’s contentious offering.
Natalie acts for end users, developers, contractors, consultants, local authorities, SPVs, private clients and investment companies/funders, typically with complex legal needs. She will advise on a plethora of construction law matters at Wedlake Bell.
The appointment bolsters the Construction group to 12 fee earners dealing with non-contentious and contentious work. The hire of Natalie is the first of two senior hires for the team, the second joining in January 2022.
