Partner and Head of our Private Client Group, Camilla Wallace, has had her comments on inheritance and succession to the Peerage published in the Financial Times, in response to a reader’s question.
On whether a child will inherit a Lord’s title when he passes, she writes “succession to a hereditary peerage passes in accordance with the wording of the original grant of the peerage by the Crown.”
