Welcome

Merger with Stitt & Co

Wedlake Bell has recently completed a merger with Stitt & Co adding to our established commercial and residential property, commercial litigation and private client practices. Four Stitt & Co partners with eight member of staff have joined the Wedlake Bell team. They are now based at Wedlake Bell’s Queen Victoria Street offices.

Our new colleagues have a broad commercial property practice. Partners Ivan Fitzherbert and Neil Winter have long-standing niche property developer clients and they specialise in site acquisitions, funding exercises, lettings and disposals.

Much of Edward Hallam’s time is occupied by property finance transactions acting for various overseas lenders, whilst

Molly Qureshi acts on general landlord and tenant matters. What the whole team brings with them is a focus on client service where the need to provide practical solutions within pressing deadlines is the norm and not the exception.

Sarah Blunn

We are delighted to welcome Sarah Blunn who joins the real estate group as a partner. Sarah is a commercial real estate lawyer with a wide range of experience from many different types of commercial property transaction. She acts for both landlords and tenants, investors and developers and handles all aspects of commercial property work, including disposals and acquisitions, leases, property finance, property development and property management. Sarah also deals with the property aspects of corporate transactions.

Sarah considers herself a generalist, but has particular expertise advising corporate occupiers on HQ and regional office moves, property development, property portfolio management and clients in the Charities, Retail and Hotel sectors. Sarah joins us from Reynolds Porter Chamberlain where she headed the Corporate Real Estate team.

Sarah spends most of her free time with her two daughters, providing an excellent taxi service to and from their various activities. Sarah loves skiing, walking and singing – from choral to karaoke.

Yana Kisel

We are also joined by Yana Kisel who joins the team as a newly qualified solicitor specialising in commercial property. Yana completed her training contract at commercial real estate firm Maples Teesdale which included a secondment to the in-house legal team at Nestle.

Yana has gained broad experience dealing with noncontentious property work including: property management work, site acquisitions and sales, and sale of properties through various corporate structures. Yana has experience working for funds, institutional clients, occupiers, and promoters.

In her spare time Yana enjoys running, swimming and bouldering.
