On Thursday 17 May, the Khushwant Singh Literary Festival comes to London’s Mayfair Hotel.
Wedlake Bell have supported this festival since its inception in India, and are proud to continue supporting #KSLF in London. This event will ‘showcase writings on the mutual influences and confluences of the Eastern culture of India and the Western culture of the UK’, and celebrate the 100th year of women gaining the right to vote in the UK.
2018 marks the first KSLF ‘pop-up’ in London, six years after it began in the Indian hill town of Kasauli, which Khushwant loved, and where he did much of his writing. The theme of this event is the ‘IndoAnglian’ and takes place in the year of India-UK cultural exchange.
