Peased to announce Wedlake Bell has advised on and put in place a structure to help set up the charity, Svitlo Education, which focuses on aiding those affected by the Ukraine conflict. The charity offers online education, English language classes, school scholarships, and educational resources to children who remain in Ukraine and those who have been displaced to other nations.
Led by Partner Victoria Mahon de Palacios, the team working on this matter consisted of Legal Director Kamalprit Lally, Solicitor Jack Martin, and Paralegal Emma Thomas.
At Wedlake Bell, we have made a concerted effort to utilise our technical skills to aid those who are the most in need. Our assistance in helping Yuliya Kosko get Svitlo Education officially recognised as a charity is an example of this.
