Wedlake Bell is awarded highest accreditation from STEP

Wedlake Bell has been awarded STEP Platinum Employer Partner accreditation, the highest of three accreditation levels awarded under STEP’s Employer Partnership Programme. STEP is the global professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning.

Achieving platinum accreditation is testament to the strength of the policies, practices and structures that Wedlake Bell have in place to support its growing Private Client offering. To achieve platinum accreditation, the organisation must show that the importance of learning & development is championed throughout the organisation, as well as demonstrating a positive work and learning environment. STEP was particularly impressed with our application and Jenni Hutchinson (Head of Employer Relationships) said the application was ‘spot on’ which was ‘rare for a first attempt’ saying that ‘it’s an excellent application and meets all of the standards for Platinum Accreditation’.

Matthew Braithwaite TEP, who is both a STEP Business Families Special Interest Group Steering Committee member and a member of STEP’s Responsible Stewardship of Wealth Thought Leadership Group and Partner at Wedlake Bell states: “This is fantastic recognition and we are pleased to be part of STEP’s Employer Partnership Programme at the highest level of accreditation.”

Caroline Miller TEP, Head of the Private Client team at Wedlake Bell along with the chair of the STEP Special Interest Group Committee for Contentious Trusts and Estates said: “Our prestigious award from STEP validates the quality of the learning opportunities and support that we offer our staff so that they can be the best they can be in their chosen career”.
