Property Litigation Partner, John Muncey, has responded to a readers’ question on restricting development in The Sunday Times.
When asked how to protect one’s view from being spoiled by a new development, John writes that “the development will require permission and, as a neighbor, you will have the opportunity to object to any application. The planning authority will not be directly concerned with protecting the view from your property, although matters relating to visual amenity generally, or privacy and overlooking, may be relevant.”
