The Times Brief publishes Ann Stanyer’s opinion on financial abuse of the elderly

Partner in our Private Client team, Ann Stanyer, has had an opinion piece published by The Times Brief, in which she calls for a government inquiry into the rising cases of financial abuse of the elderly.

This comes after a Freedom of Information request made by Ann revealed that 13,000 cases of elderly financial abuse had been reported in the four years to June 2017.

“There’s no dedicated organisation to stop older people falling victims to fraudsters” writes Ann, calling for the government to take action.
