Expertise

Rachel advises UK and international clients on UK tax and on trust, estate and succession matters.

Many of Rachel’s clients are individuals and families who are arriving in, or leaving, the UK. She advises them on residence, domicile and their UK tax and reporting obligations. She helps clients plan for the future and provides advice on Wills, lifetime gifts and asset holding structures.

Rachel also works with individual and institutional trustees. She advises them on their duties and responsibilities and drafts trust documentation.

She also assists clients with incapacity planning.

Career History

Rachel trained and qualified as a solicitor at Charles Russell LLP in 2012. She worked in the London and Geneva teams at the firm before joining Wedlake Bell LLP in 2022.

Rachel has a law degree from the University of Cambridge and completed the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law, London. She is a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) having completed the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates (England & Wales) in 2015.

Rachel has been twice named as one of ePrivateclient’s Top 35 Under 35 (2018, 2019) and a Spear’s Rising Star (2019). She is listed as “One to Watch” in the Private Client Global Elite directory and was shortlisted for Citywealth’s Senior Associate of the Year in 2020.
