Liam advises on a wide range of property development transactions for major housebuilders, SME developers, promoters, and landowners. He has particular expertise in residential development, strategic land, and logistics.
Liam regularly advises on complex option/promotion agreements, conditional contracts involving deferred/staged payments, overage, and BTR/affordable housing disposals.
Recent Experience
- Acting for housebuilders on a number of multi-million pound acquisitions.
- Advising on strategic land transactions (including promotion agreements and options), and the disposal of affordable housing, serviced parcels and BTR disposals.
- Acting for a developer on the acquisition of a £40m site in the South West for the development of over 500 residential units and a care home.
- Acting for a developer on the disposal of 92 BTR units in Kent to an institutional investor.
- Acting for the lender on a £20 million development financing of a central London residential development.
Career History
Liam joined Wedlake Bell on qualification in 2013, having previously gained a degree in Law from the University of Exeter.
