Gillian is a commercial litigator and has specialised in complex insolvency litigation for over 20 years She advises companies, individuals and insolvency practitioners. Her cases involve fraud and asset recovery to insolvent estates for the benefit of creditors. She has also acted as a supervising solicitor in search and seizure orders.

Recent Experience

• Unravelling a number of phoenix companies resulting in a recovery of £350,000.00 for a utility company;.
• Negotiating substantial settlements personally from directors of companies where funds had been wrongly taken;
• Advising on unlawful dividends paid to directors;
• Defending annulment applications.

Career History

Gillian gained her LLB(Hons) Law degree at Leeds University and completed her studies at Guildford College of Law. She completed her training at Titmuss Sainer and Webb (now Decherts) and was admitted as a solicitor in 1992. She joined Moon Beever assisting with litigation and particularly fraud and asset recoveries in 2016 and joined Wedlake Bell after the merger in 2022.
