David has a broad practice acting for developers, investors, occupiers, managers and advisers of commercial real estate, who instruct him across a wide variety of transactions. He counts listed property companies, development companies, private equity firms, investment platforms, family offices, high net worth individuals, overseas investors and corporate occupiers among his clients, who instruct him on all their real estate needs, from original acquisition to ultimate disposal.

David often blends his advice with that of other specialists within the firm, offering a seamless service to cover every need his clients require. In particular, he works closely with colleagues in the construction, tax, planning, finance and corporate teams.

  • Advising the owner of a heritage film and television studio totalling over 500,000 sqft of stage, office, workshop and backlot space on its sale to a global film and television production studio.
  • Advising a UK-based investment fund on the acquisition of a 126,000+ sqft office and studio space in Chiswick Park that serves as the HQ for a broadcasting channel’s UK operations and 600 staff.
  • Advising a UK based real estate investment trust on the acquisition of a 165-room hotel in a central London city location, operated by one of the UK’s largest hotel brands.
  • Advising a private property investment fund on the acquisition of a significant two-acre development site in the heart of Oxford City Centre, with plans in place to convert the site to a £200 million mixed-use scheme.
  • Advising a real estate investment fund on the redevelopment of a Grade II listed building in Manchester to provide a 95,000 sqft mix of premium CAT A space, fully furnished and fitted offices.
