“Was my father ‘coerced’ into rewriting his will?” – Andrew O’Keeffe responds to a reader’s question for The FT

Andrew O’Keeffe, Head of our Private Client Team, has had his responds to a reader’s question on inheritance for The FT.

On the issue of contesting a re-written Will, Andrew writes that “a will can be invalid on any number of grounds. Was the will correctly executed? Is the signature your father’s? If you suspect that the carer helped him sign it, or signed it for him, strict formalities need to be followed to demonstrate that the will is not a forgery.”
