Partner in our Private Client team and author of “Financial Abuse of Older Clients”, Ann Stanyer, commented on data from her recent Freedom of Information request to the Care Quality Commission in The Sunday Telegraph.
Ann wrote that there was a “very real problem in the care home sector” after it emerged that almost 13,000 cases of potential financial abuse were reported in the four years to June 2017.
