Cafcass (the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service, who represent children in family law cases in England) have reported on the number of new private law cases referred to them in June 2021.
They reported having received 3,973 cases that month – 5.6% (or 210 cases) more than June 2020.
The number of children involved in the relevant cases also increased by 50 children (more than the 5,654 involved in June 2020).
