Wedlake Bell advises the Nomios Group on its acquisition of Intragen, a leading European digital identity and access management specialist
Wedlake Bell is pleased to announce that it has advised the Nomios Group, a leading European cybersecurity services provider, on its acquisition of Intragen, an award-winning leader in digital identity and access management. The acquisition was supported by Keensight Capital, one of Europe’s leading private equity managers dedicated to pan-European growth buyout investments.
Headquartered in the UK, Intragen operates across several key European markets, reinforcing Nomios’ presence in the UK&I, Benelux, DACH, Nordics and Greece, and expanding its international footprint. This transaction marks a major milestone in the strategic growth of Nomios and further strengthens its position as a trusted partner for cybersecurity across Europe. With 250 specialists securing millions of identities across Europe, the acquisition of Intragen enables Nomios to offer an unmatched range of services, addressing all cybersecurity needs from networking to identity, and supporting organisations in meeting the demands of digitalisation and compliance.
Wedlake Bell’s specialist international M&A team was led by Mark Tasker (Partner) and supported by David Duhig (Senior Associate), James French (Senior Associate), Tom Boersma (Senior Associate) and Enea Aniaj (Solicitor). Specialist support was provided by Michael Ridsdale (Partner) and Gemma Williams (Associate) on corporate tax matters, and Laurence Rogers (Partner) on finance. This transaction further demonstrates Wedlake Bell’s depth of experience and expertise in handling international M&A transactions in the technology sector.
Alongside Wedlake Bell, Nomios’ overseas legal advisers were Oyat (France), Castrén & Snellman (Finland), NautaDutilh (the Netherlands), PotamitisVekris (Greece), Renzenbrink (Germany), and Alvarez & Marsal provided financial and tax due diligence. Squire Patton Boggs advised the sellers.
Mark Tasker, who led the Wedlake Bell team, commented: “It has been a privilege to be entrusted with leading the legal work on this key strategic acquisition for Nomios which continues to go from strength to strength both by acquisition and organically.
Tim Fleur, Chief Legal Officer of Nomios, added: “This transaction represents another important step in Nomios’ European growth strategy, strengthening our position as a leading cybersecurity services provider across the region. Delivering a deal of this scale and complexity required strong partners, and Wedlake Bell were exceptional in that role. The deep cross-border M&A expertise, pragmatic approach, and responsiveness of Mark Tasker, David Duhig, Enea Aniaj and the wider team were key in bringing the transaction to a successful close.”
