Wedlake Bell advises the Trustees of Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) pension, on a £61.8m buy-in with Just Group
A Wedlake Bell team, led by Partner Justin McGilloway and included newly elected Pensions Partner, Paul Ashcroft have advised the Trustees of the Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS), on a £61.8m buy-in with Just Group. This buy-in will insure the defined benefit liabilities for around 708 members.
The Scandinavian Airlines System, commonly known as Scandinavian Airlines, is the joint flag carrier airline of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. It is part of SAS Group and is headquartered in Solna, Sweden.
It has been a pleasure assisting the Trustees with the buy-in and we look forward to continuing to advise them on the move towards a full plan buy-out.
