A clear view of the risks of indiscriminate digital facial recognition

In this article Partner Alexander Dittel and Solicitor Francesca Allport discuss the recent fine issued to Clearview AI by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for its processing of biometric data of individuals in the UK. The fine was reduced from the provisional £17 million proposed back in November 2021.
