Sam is a trainee international employment lawyer helping global businesses tackle a full spectrum of cross-border employment issues.
Sam has worked in global employment law for most of his career. Before joining the firm, he was part of a large multinational tech company, where he specialised in cross-border employment, drafting employment contracts and termination documents across the world, payroll, and employer of record (EOR) services. He spent two years as a paralegal at the firm before beginning his training to qualify as a solicitor.
Sam specialises in cross-border projects, employment documentation and the development of on our in-house know how across the 80+ jurisdictions we work in.
Experience 
- Drafting bespoke employment documentation including employment contracts, settlement agreements, and global handbooks for multinational businesses operating across multiple jurisdictions.
- Supporting on cross-border employment matters including litigation, terminations, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and outsourcing.
- Managing complex cross-border projects for multinational employers seeking harmonised guidance on international employment compliance across multiple continents.
- Assisting with the employment aspects of high-value corporate transactions, including the acquisition of a multi-billion-dollar company.
- Contributing to the development and expansion of the firm’s extensive international know-how library, covering employment topics across 80+ jurisdictions.
