Expertise

Richard deals with trusts, capital tax planning, estate administration, and wills/LPAs. In addition Richard has a Court of Protection practice and has acted as a panel deputy since 2002. Richard has a particular interest in contentious probate and advises clients in conjunction with one of his litigation colleagues.

Career History

Richard qualified as a solicitor just over 30 years ago and is a fully qualified member of Step (The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). Richard was a partner at a well known firm of Bristol solicitors for many years and moved to Moon Beever to head up the Private Client team. He joined Wedlake Bell in July 2021 when the firms merged.
