Mimi Oluwande

Mimi qualified into the Insolvency and Restructuring team in September 2024. She works on both contentious insolvency matters, often involving fraud, and non-contentious restructuring matters.

• Acting for the Charity Commission following the appointment of two Wedlake Bell partners as interim managers of a charity after the former trustees were accused of misconduct.
• Acting against two directors of a group of companies found guilty of committing fraud. We acted for the liquidator of one of the companies in the run-up to the court hearing as well as in the enforcement of the judgment debt.
• Acting for administrators on administration pre-pack sales of companies.
• Acting for insolvency practitioners investigating the affairs of companies that have gone into liquidation or administration.
