Lizzie is a Solicitor in the Art & Luxury team. She advises a wide variety of clients including private, high profile and high net worth individuals, artists, galleries, dealers, collectors, auction houses, and collecting societies.

Her practice primarily focuses on contentious work, including disputes regarding title, authenticity, investment schemes, infringement of intellectual property rights, artists’ resale rights, and the recovery of artworks. She also assists clients with advisory and non-contentious matters, including advice relating to anti-money laundering.

Career History

Lizzie joined Wedlake Bell LLP in September 2022 as a trainee Solicitor. She graduated from Newcastle University with a First Class Honours degree in Law with International Legal Studies which included studying for a year at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. She then completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP, graduating with distinction
