Kirk practices in the Commercial Litigation and Insolvency and Business Recovery Departments. Kirk practices predominantly in contentious matters, both in insolvency and commercial litigation, including antecedent transactions, misfeasance, breach of directors’ duties, fraud claims, bankruptcy litigation including the possession and sale of property and applications for disclosure. Kirk is also well versed in ADR to achieve the best possible out-of-Court outcome for clients.

Career History

Kirk graduated with Honours in Geography from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law. Having gained experience as a paralegal in a diverse range of fields from a niche yachting and maritime law firm to a magic circle firm, Kirk qualified in 2010 and joined Moon Beever the same year and Wedlake Bell in July 2021 when the two firms merged.
