Justin has a broad real estate practice, which includes acting for landlords, tenants, investors and developers in relation to office, industrial, retail and leisure portfolios. He acts on complex and high-value property transactions.

Helping clients in relation to all their real estate requirements (acting for some for over 20 years), Justin is committed to building long-lasting relationships founded on trust and open communication by providing expert advice based on a deep understanding of the client’s business needs. His focus is on anticipating and dealing with what is required to complete deals while providing concise commercial advice and approaching the work as if he is part of the client’s organisation.

Justin is expert in balancing the legal and commercial drivers underpinning deals and is known for his pragmatic approach.

• Advising a real estate investor on the surrender of a significant long lease head lease, including related underlettings and agreements in respect of dilapidations and a transition in the documentation to new service charge provisions.
• Advising a global staffing and workforce solutions provider on the acquisition of a 10-year lease on a significant London office space in Devonshire Square, including various ‘dark green’ lease clauses and early access for fitting out works.
• Advising a Dubai-based property investor on various matters in relation to their prime London portfolio, including an anchor tenant restaurant letting and operating agreement, retail lettings and re-gearing of existing tenancy arrangements.
• Advising a university in relation to various matters, including the completion of a 999-year lease of its office headquarters and the leasing of further space within the campus.
• Advising a logistics developer in various asset purchases, including forward funding and development agreements, lettings and exit.
• Advising airlines in relation to various matters, including lounge lettings at Heathrow Airport and office moves.
