Jeff has extensive experience acting for a broad range of clients on the acquisition, disposal, financing, refinancing and management of commercial real estate in London and the regions.
Jeff’s work includes advising domestic and overseas private equity and family office investors on high-value long-income investment acquisitions across a broad range of asset classes, including offices, logistics and retail.

He also carries out investment portfolio management for landlord clients, including complex conditional agreements for lease, lettings, licences to alter, assign or underlet, and advising on issues relating to security of tenure under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.

Jeff has expertise advising landlord clients on applications and renewals of existing telecoms agreements under the 2017 Electronic Communications Code.

He also advises listed corporate occupiers and major high street retailers on leasehold acquisitions, renewals and disposals, including specialist advice on green lease and turnover rent provisions.

In addition, Jeff acts for lenders, receivers and administrators in relation to the management and disposal of distressed assets, including development sites.

  • Advising Hillcrest on its £48.4m investment acquisition of the QVC head office and studios in Chiswick in August 2024.
  • Advising Landsdale Property Holdings Limited on its £32.3m investment acquisition of the Tower Hill Premier Inn in October 2024.
  • Advising Nautilina Limited/the Global Holdings Group on its £74.9m investment acquisition of 1 Hanover Square, London in January 2024.
  • Advising the Theo Paphitis Retail Group in relation to the ongoing management of part of its retail portfolio and dealing with leasehold renewals inside and outside the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
