James is a solicitor in the construction department with a focus on non-contentious matters. James joined the team in 2023, having completed his training contract at the firm.

Prior to qualifying into the team, James was a paralegal in the commercial property department as well as the corporate department.

Career History

James joined the corporate team at Wedlake Bell in 2019, having previously worked as a civil litigation paralegal in a small city firm in London. James qualified as a solicitor in March 2023.

Prior to this, James completed the LPC at The University of Law and was awarded a distinction. Having read Law with Business at the University of Sussex, James also holds an LLM in International Commercial Law in which he graduated top of his year.

In his spare time, James plays tennis (badly) and is a keen boxing fan.
