Helen D’Monte

Helen is a Senior Trust Manager and a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives specialising in trust and charity administration within the Private Client team. She drafts simple trust documents and oversees the full spectrum of trust administration, including day‑to‑day management and regulatory reporting. Helen works closely with land agents and investment advisers on behalf of the Trustees to ensure effective stewardship of trust assets.

Helen also manages a portfolio of grant‑making charities, supporting trustees with everyday management of the charities, including liaising with possible grant recipients and being the contact for the investment managers. She may monitor the grant recipients use of grants received, as needed. Helen also assists with governance, operations and strategic oversight.

• Managing a change of investment advises for a large charity.
• Helping deal with the practical aspects of a change in ownership of a landed estate held within a Trust.
• Dealing with IHT reporting on the death of a life tenant in a UK based Trust.
