Glenn Chidgey

Glenn qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2012. He is a partner and specialises in commercial disputes and contentious insolvency.

He is regularly involved in disputes ranging from breach of contract claims, shareholder disputes and professional negligence.

Glenn also has extensive experience of contentious insolvency matters and acts on behalf of lenders, Law of Property Act (LPA) receivers, liquidators, administrators, trustees in bankruptcy, companies, creditors and other stakeholders.

• Acting for a client in the aviation sector in respect of a complex multi-million pound contractual dispute with an airline.
• Acting for joint administrators (pre- and post-appointment) making an application to sell a significant property free of security under paragraph 71 of Schedule B1 of the Insolvency Act 1986.
• Regularly advising a lender client on the enforcement of its security, including LPA receivership appointments and the enforcement of personal guarantees.
• Regularly advising LPA receivers on their appointments and post-appointment matters.

In March 2012, Glenn completed an eight-month secondment with a recovery team within the restructuring division of a major high street and commercial bank.
