Finella Fogarty

Finella specialises in advising insolvency practitioners, corporates, boards and lenders and all stakeholders in distressed situations on both contentious and non-contentious restructuring, formal insolvency and turnaround situations.

She mainly represents office holders, distressed companies or lenders in business rescue and corporate turnarounds. With over 22 years’ experience in the industry, she has a broad range of experience advising on a number of complex and high profile domestic and multi-jurisdictional matters including trading administrations, special administrations, syndicated restructures and restructuring plans to bankruptcies, liquidations and receiverships.

• Acting for the Shareholders of a national car parks business in relation to the implementation of a restructuring plan.
• Acting for Dr Vijay Mallya in relation to his bankruptcy.
• Acting for the Joint Administrators of the Corbin and King Restaurant Empire (which comprised the famous Woolsey) on the sale of the same.
• Acting for the Joint Administrators in relation to their appointment over Hounslow Calvary Barracks.
• Advising the Board on the wind down and subsequent insolvency of RBG Holdings PLC (a publicly listed Law Firm).
• Acting for the joint administrators in relation to the restructure of Southern Water.
