Euan is a Consultant in the Employee Benefits team at Wedlake Bell.  He has worked exclusively as a share plans adviser since 2001 and brings a wealth of experience in this area.

Relevant Experience

Euan’s experience includes all aspects of executive remuneration and reward and employee benefits including:

  • the design, implementation, and operation of compensation plans at executive and all-employee level for national and international clients (predominantly corporates, private equity houses, and family offices);
  • the creation of employee trusts to facilitate the operation of compensation plans;
  • bespoke planning for tax efficient arrangements and cross-border issues, including the implementation of EMI and CSOP tax advantaged plans for private and publicly listed companies;
  • providing advice, in the context of transactions (IPO, M&A etc), on all aspects of share plan matters. With regards to IPO’s, he has been regularly involved in the planning and implementation of share incentive plans which are aligned with AIM, and LSE standard and premium listing market practices; and
  • advising private equity organisations or management (as the case may be) on the rights attaching to managers’ shares as a consequence of MBOs and other private equity backed transactions.
