Her work spans both freehold and leasehold transactions, including portfolio acquisitions and disposals, property management matters, voluntary lease extensions, first registrations of unregistered title, and secured lending for several private banks. Emma is known for her responsive, pragmatic approach and her ability to navigate complex transactions with clarity and confidence.

• Acted for a corporate borrower in respect of refinancing student accommodation (57 flats in total) with a private bank including deeds of variation in respect of the leases and variations to existing guarantee arrangements;
• Acted for a private bank in the finance of a portfolio of residential apartment blocks;
• Acted on sales of residential property by LPA receivers;
• First registration and transfers of part to restructure a substantial rural property between family members;
• Purchase of a former farm and land within Dartmoor National Park including representations to the national park authority and advice regarding a public footpath within the boundaries;
• Purchase of a large freehold house with unregistered land down to the Crown’s foreshore, renewal of a jetty lease from the Crown Estate and advice regarding adverse possession
