Emma has experience in all aspects of residential real estate transactions acting for private investors, lenders, developers, tenants and landlords with a particular interest in inward investment for high net worth international clients. Her work includes both leasehold and freehold property in prime central London and the South West, portfolio transactions, property management, voluntary lease extensions, first registrations of unregistered title and work for a number of private banks.

• Acted for a corporate borrower in respect of refinancing student accommodation (57 flats in total) with a private bank including deeds of variation in respect of the leases and variations to existing guarantee arrangements;
• Acted for a private bank in the finance of a portfolio of residential apartment blocks;
• Acted on sales of residential property by LPA receivers;
• First registration and transfers of part to restructure a substantial rural property between family members;
• Purchase of a former farm and land within Dartmoor National Park including representations to the national park authority and advice regarding a public footpath within the boundaries;
• Purchase of a large freehold house with unregistered land down to the Crown’s foreshore, renewal of a jetty lease from the Crown Estate and advice regarding adverse possession
