Diljinder leads the firm’s risk and compliance function and sets the related strategy. Diljinder is a skilled regulatory lawyer with significant experience of navigating businesses through the complex world of professional and financial regulations and risk.

Career History

Diljinder has over 20 years’ professional experience in the City and leading regional law firms initially as a corporate lawyer and later as a public law and regulatory lawyer. He is also a Barrister (non-practising).

Diljinder joined Wedlake Bell as their Director of Risk and Compliance. Previously, he has been a MLRO and held senior regulatory roles within law firms.

Diljinder has also worked for the SRA’s Regulatory Management Directorate and as a legal adviser in their General Counsel team.

Diljinder has held various public appointments in education, including as a Panel Member of the National College for Teaching and Leadership, Legal Adviser to the Institute for Learning’s Fitness to Practise Tribunal and Member of Kings College Research Ethics Committee.

Diljinder is a member of the Law Society and the Inner Temple.
