Claudia Cinzia Hobbs

Claudia is a Solicitor in our Private Client team. She specialises in advising UK-based individuals and families on wealth preservation, estate planning and structuring, including the preparation of tax-efficient Wills, the creation and use of multiple lifetime trusts, and advising on and managing the administration of complex estates.

Claudia’s experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters enable her to provide well-rounded and insightful advice to clients.

• Acting in the administration of a complex estate valued at circa £200 million.
• Preparing tax-efficient Wills for clients with significant agricultural and business assets, including planning involving Agricultural Property Relief (APR) and Business Property Relief (BPR) in light of recent legislative changes.
• Advising on Family Investment Companies (FICs).
• Negotiating with HMRC on Inheritance Tax liabilities, reliefs, and exemptions.

Claudia co-authored the Chambers and Partners Global Practice Guide for Art & Cultural Property Law 2025 (UK edition).

Claudia is an Associate Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She achieved distinctions in both the STEP Advanced Certificate in the Administration of Estates and the STEP Advanced Certificate in the Administration of Trusts.

Claudia is a member of the firm’s AI Committee, contributing to the firm’s AI and innovation strategy.
