Charley deals with all elements of residential conveyancing, including the acquisition, disposal and refinancing of freehold and leasehold properties, non-contentious landlord and tenant matters, and voluntary lease extensions and licenses.

She acts for a range of clients, including national and international corporate and individual clients, owner-occupiers, developers and investors, as well as first-time buyers, in connection with a wide variety of high-value properties (with a particular focus on the prime and super-prime market) both in and out of London.

She also advises borrowers and lenders on property finance transactions and has experience working with leading high street lenders and private banks.

• Acting in the £34m acquisition of a residential leasehold property in London.
• Acting for non-UK resident clients in their purchase of a £5m country house, which exchanged with 24 hours.
• Acting for a client in the sale of a manor house in Oxford comprising partly registered and partly unregistered land.
• Acting on the £20m acquisition of a property under construction, financed in part by a £12m portfolio refinance of a number of London properties.
• Acting on the £10m acquisition of a freehold listed building located within the Grosvenor Estate, with substantial alterations having been carried out over the years. The property was purchased from receivers for a non-UK corporate client, who purchased it through a UK single-purpose vehicle.
