Alexia is a Senior Associate who advises charities and not-for-profits on commercial contracts, data protection and non-contentious intellectual property matters.
She has extensive experience advising on charity mergers and acquisitions, formation, collaborations, partnerships and other commercial contracts and activities. Alexia also regularly advises on all aspects of data protection compliance, which includes compliant fundraising and supporter engagement, drafting policies and agreements such as data sharing agreements and data processing agreements, advising on subject access requests and other data subject rights, as well as conducting detailed data protection compliance audits. Her work and expertise encompass various sectors, including education, health and the arts.
She is active on the training front having provided bespoke training to charities clients on contract formation, key clauses to look out for in contracts, and common pitfalls (and how to avoid them). Alexia has also prepared and recorded a bespoke contract awareness course for a not-for-profit client’s staff members.
