The Art Newspaper highlights Caecilia Dance’s contribution to V&A symposium
Art & Luxury Associate Caecilia Dance has been featured in The Art Newspaper following her participation in a symposium held alongside the Victoria & Albert Museum’s Sacred Treasures from Kyiv exhibition.
The symposium brought together experts from the UK and Ukraine to discuss the impact of conflict on cultural institutions, the displacement of cultural property and ongoing efforts to preserve cultural heritage.
During the discussion, Caecilia explored the role of law in supporting Ukrainian cultural heritage and highlighted how museums and heritage professionals can work together to address issues surrounding restitution and reparations, particularly in the context of any future peace agreement.
