Opinion: Remote witnessing of wills “last resort”

Associate Katie Turney shares her thoughts regarding the Lord Chancellor’s decision to extend the “common-sense” measure to allow the remote witnessing of wills, published in Today’s Wills & Probate.

“The measure has been extended for a further two years to 31 January 2024; a decision that has been cautiously welcomed by the legal profession, as the UK continues to adjust to living with Covid-19.”
