Stephen Callender

Stephen is a partner in the Corporate team and has extensive experience acting for clients in the technology sector (including fintech, cybersecurity, medtech and edtech), the professional services sector, the construction materials sector and the natural resources industry.

His main practice areas include M&A (acting for both public and private companies) and UK capital markets (advising issuers, nomads, brokers and financial advisers on private placings, initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary fundraises and dual listings).

Stephen also has considerable experience advising on equity investments, rights issues, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations.

• Advising the shareholders of One Advisory, a leading national specialist business advisory firm, on the sale of One Advisory to FRP Advisory Group.
• Advising the shareholders of FM Conway Limited, a leading public works company in England, on the sale of FM Conway Limited to VINCI Construction.
• Advising IntelliAM AI, a software and AI business which uses machine learning to improve operating efficiency in the FMCG space, on its £5m fundraise and admission to the Aquis Stock Exchange.
• Advising Renewabl, a renewable energy matching platform, on its multi-million-pound seed round.
• Advising Belimed AG on its acquisition of Amity International, a manufacturer and developer of speciality chemicals, consumables and equipment for the healthcare industry worldwide.
• Advising the shareholders of Dark Beam Ltd, a leader in supplier cyber risk management, to apexanalytix, a leading provider of global supply chain risk management data, software and services, which is backed by KKR.
• Advising FM Conway Limited on its acquisition of Berkshire Macadams Limited, its acquisition of United Asphalt and its acquisition of Topsfield Ltd.
