Laura Bougourd

Laura’s practice covers all mainstream aspects of commercial property, with an emphasis on investment and landlord and tenant transactions.

She regularly deals with sales, acquisitions, lettings, refinances and asset management work for a range of clients, including investors, landlords, corporate tenants and restaurant operators. She has particular experience working with clients in the office, retail and hospitality sectors, and also has experience setting up leasing structures on new developments.

More recently, Laura has had a particular focus on investment and portfolio management matters for landlords and tenants, including negotiating complex letting agreements.

• Acting for the developer of a large mixed-use estate in London in relation to the pre-letting of retail, leisure and office units and then subsequently dealing with letting and property management work for the same development for over 10 years.
• Advising a large national restaurant chain on its property acquisitions and estate management matters.
• Acting for an investor client in relation to the letting of retail and hospitality premises in a substantial mixed-use development in London.
• Drafting and negotiating complex agreements for lease for landlord clients in respect of the disposal of commercial premises across a variety of asset classes, including for lettings of restaurant and theatre premises.
• Leading high-value leasehold office acquisitions for corporate clients, including those making headquarter moves within in the City of London.
• Acting for borrower clients in relation to the refinancing of investment assets, including assets in prime central London locations.
