Emily is a solicitor in the Private Client team. She advises high net worth UK and international clients on a wide range of matters, including estate and succession planning, lasting powers of attorney, estate administration and trusts.

She has a particular focus on assisting US citizens and mixed couple US/UK citizens with their lifetime estate planning, including drafting wills and setting up trust structures.

Emily has a wide range of experience, including working with executors to administer high-value estates, and assisting trustees with trust administration.

• Advising executors of a multi-million pound estate with several cross-border assets to administer the estate in an efficient and effective manner.
• Advising a couple with US citizenship and domiciled in the UK on their UK tax and estate planning.
• Negotiating with HMRC regarding available reliefs and Inheritance Tax deductions relating to a high-value estate.
