Ematice advises individuals on estate planning, trusts and estate administration, acting for both UK and internationally connected clients.
She provides tax planning advice to help clients preserve wealth for future generations. Her work includes advising on the inheritance tax and capital gains tax implications of lifetime gifting and transfers into trusts, as well as the effective use of available reliefs and allowances.
She supports executors and families throughout the estate administration process, coordinating with professional advisers where required. She has experience working on complex, high‑value estates with nuanced family arrangements.
Ematice also advises trustees on their ongoing duties, powers and reporting obligations.
Experience 
- Assisting in the administration of a £15 million multi-jurisdictional estate involving complex family arrangements.
- Negotiating a settlement agreement between executors and beneficiaries resolving their competing claims to the deceased’s estate, following the discovery of an earlier will which remained valid due to ineffective revocation.
- Preparing a trust deed for a jointly owned property, outlining the ownership arrangements and protecting parties’ long-term interests.
- Assisting with an application to the court to vary the terms of a long-established trust to facilitate its effective ongoing administration.
- Advising trustees of a family trust on capital advancements, trustee powers and exit charge implications.
