Eleri acts for a number of charity clients on a wide variety of property transactions, including development sales, entering into overage agreements, acting on the acquisition of properties including residential and educational. She has also advised her clients on the land aspects of the conversion of schools to academies. In addition, Eleri acts for a number of commercial clients in dealing with the grant of leases and general landlord and tenant work.
- Dealing with the sale of former school land for residential development;
- Preparing overage agreements on development sales;
- Development Agreements where client is selling part of their land and having the remainder redeveloped by the developer; and
- Dealing with general landlord and tenant work for property investment company.
She completed her training contract at Allen & Overy and then took two years out, teaching English and business law in a management college in Beijing. Eleri joined Ellis Wood, which merged to become part of Cumberland Ellis in 2003. She moved to Wedlake Bell LLP from Cumberland Ellis when the firms merged in April 2012.
